Susan Fowler

Susan Fowler brings many years of consulting experience across the nonprofit and public sectors, with deep expertise in strategic planning, program design, evaluation, and adult learning. Her work is grounded in helping organizations and cross-sector partnerships think clearly, collaborate effectively, and move from vision to action.


Susan specializes in designing and facilitating learning experiences, guiding strategic planning processes, and supporting teams through change. Much of her work has focused on public–private partnerships and community collaborations, where she is known for creating thoughtful, inclusive spaces that support shared understanding, alignment, and meaningful progress.


In addition to her consulting practice, Susan has served as an instructor in graduate-level public administration, guiding students through reflective learning processes that connect lived experience, professional practice, and leadership development.


Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Highest Distinction (Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Rochester and a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
